Natural Winter Glow

This minimalistic look was inspired for a casual day out with your girls or a lunch date where you wanna make a bit of effort, but you still want to keep it natural. Lately I’ve been drawn to lip gloss rather than my favourite matte lipsticks since the cold weather just doesn’t cooperate with my lips. They’re always dry and I have such a bad habit of biting them, but lip gloss is great at masking it. Whereas, matte lipsticks do the opposite. Right now, I’ve been wearing Fenty Beauty’s gloss bomb nearly every day, not to mention I’m obsessed with the smell and it’s amazing how longer lasting it is!

For some reason I skipped the highlighter and instead went for bronzer from Urban Decay’s Naked Flushed- Strip and matte blush in Mac Raizin which I hadn’t worn in ages. Don’t get me wrong I love highlighter, but I felt like giving it a break for this look. For my eyes I used a shimmery champagne tone from Makeup Revolution's Redemption Iconic 1 palette across my eye lids and a lilac shade from MAC's eye shadow palette in Burgundy Times Nine in the crease and outer v. To enhance my eyes, I used black eyeliner on my water line and Yves Saint Laurent volume effect mascara which I’ve recently started using and I have to say I’m impressed. My eyelashes look more volumized and it's made me feel more confident wearing mascara without eyeliner as I used to feel naked when I wasn't wearing eyeliner.

Another new addition to my collection is the Maybelline Total Temptation brow definer which works wonders. I can define my brows more at ease with the teardrop tip pencil to keep it very natural and much less dramatic. I would definitely recommend this, especially if you’re a beginner.
